Browsing this National Security Agency Web Site

The unrestricted contents of this web site may be browsed anonymously. This National Security Agency web site automatically logs visitor information concerning the pages read, photographs viewed, and information downloaded for statistical purposes. This information does not identify you personally. The information gathered helps us to assess the content most interesting to visitors and to determine technical design specifications for identifying system performance issues. Principal Uses: Information collected via IAD.gov is used to: 1) provide e-mail notifications of substantive updates to subscribers who request this service;2) provide information in response to comments or questions when a response is requested by the person submitting the comment or question;and 3) to register persons for site access and events.

Restricted areas of IAD.gov contain UNCLASSIFIED//FOR OFFICIAL USE ONLY (U//FOUO) information that the Freedom of Information Act, 5 U.S.C. § 552, may exempt from public access and release. Controlling, storing, handling, transmitting, distributing, and disposing U//FOUO information obtained from IAD.gov shall be done in accordance with Department of Defense policy and not released to the public, the media, or other personnel who do not have a valid "need to know" without the prior approval of the National Security Agency. No portion of IAD.gov's restricted areas shall be furnished or otherwise made available to the General Public in any format or version, including electronic, written, printed, or verbal. Unauthorized access and access in excess of authorization to IAD.gov's restricted areas are prohibited and subject to criminal and civil penalties.
